Description:
The Community Gaming Grants program distributes $140 million of commercial gambling revenues per year to not-for-profit community organizations throughout the province. Each year, $5 million of that budget is allocated to the Capital Project Program, for capital projects undertaken by not-for-profit organizations that cost between $20,000 and $1.25 million dollars and that provide significant benefit to their communities. Past projects include new buildings, childcare facilities, renovations, new kitchens, playgrounds, vehicles, audio/visual equipment, and equipment for individuals with a disability.
