Registration for Princeton Kokanee Summer Swimming Club opens April 1, 2024.

Minnow (age 5-7): Cost $250 for 2 lessons per week for 30 minutes.

Development A and B (age 5-13): Cost $300 plus $50 for insurance = $350 for lessons 5 days a week for 30 minutes.

Development C (age 8-13): Cost $350 plus $50 for insurance = $400 for lessons 5 days a week for 1 hour plus 1 morning session per week.

Junior/Senior (age 10-18): Cost $400 plus $50 for insurance = $450 for lessons 5 days a week plus up to 3 morning sessions per week.

• Krokanee (parents – age 18+)*: $300 plus $50 for insurance = $350 for 3 morning sessions per week for 1.5 hours

The Princeton Kokanee Summer Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. The age ranges for each group are guidelines only and each child will be placed in an appropriate group once their skills are assessed in the pool. It is the goal of the Kokanees to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each swimmer to the best of their abilities.

New members: please register based on your child’s age first. If the age spans multiple groups, choose the one that represents your estimation of their skill level. Minnow: absolute beginner. Development A: beginner, Development C: confident intermediate, Junior/Senior: advanced. They will be assessed in the pool and shifted to a different group if necessary, so it’s ok if you’re not sure.

Swim Meets: Each athlete is encouraged to attend swim meets throughout the season. They are a fun and incredibly supportive environment, encouraging fast swims and healthy competition. Everyone helps out and volunteers to make the weekend go smoothly and enjoy watching the athletes get Personal Best Times and try their best.

We host a Fun Meet in June which is a great way to try it out for the first time. Swim meets are completely optional – you can attend none, one, or all of them!

June 15+16 – Merritt

June 29+30 – Revelstoke

July 6+7 – Penticton

July 20+21 – Kelowna

July 27 – Keremeos

August 3+4 – Regionals in Kamloops

August 15-18 – Provincials in Vancouver
